Magnifico

The eye level clouds and snow add to the floating majesty of this mountain. Gives the impression it could calmly sail by. Can't wait for the season to begin!

Re: Magnifico

Thanks. I can hardly wait too, and I'm already thinking about all the places where I want to go this year. I've got great memories of the Andes, and going back there is one of the options. Mind you, it wouldn't be Ancohuma and Illampu again. Even though to this date Illampu is my favorite climb, I prefer to climb routes I haven't climbed before.
Cheers, Rob

Re: Magnifico

I'm looking at any of the Bolivian 6000'ers this year including the ones I have climbed but preferably on different routes. Instead of the tourist attractions I'm looking forward to those places waiting to be found again such as the unspoiled Apolobamba on the Peru/Bolivian border or Cordillera Lipez down south. There is Chachacomani and Chearoco in the Cordillera Real, and the list goes on.

Re: Magnifico

Well, talking about Bolivia, I haven't climbed Chachacomain or Chearoco yet, and outside the Cordillera Real I've only walked up to Parinacota, so there's still a lot to do. Who knows we'll run into eachother up there someday!
