The southern route follows an easy class 2 herdpath. The northern route descends over a few very hairy stretches, including a gnarly dryfall.
I believe the trail actually branches up the dotted magenta line; I saw a trail coming up that way as I descended east. Up to the southern end of the dotted line, the trail is fairly distinct.
When I came down the N route in late June, there were patches of hard, steep snow in the gully. The dryfalls and ledges should not be taken lightly on that northern route.
