Really hope that the guy is still alive - judging by the technique and clothing he (and you?!) uses to cross a glacier.

Well, truth be known, we were safer when this photo was taken (anchor, belay, awareness of crevasse existing) than climbers usually are when walking across a glacier (no fixed anchor, unexpected crevasses). Or driving in a car at 70mph, for that matter. =)
