From Silver Lake  Sucess!

Approached from Silver Lake, the LONG way to nab this peak. But at least it doesn't involve 550'+ of suck choss & scree. Plus, Silver Lake is BEAUTIFUL. The mining ruins are so amazing.

Kendall Peak to Whitehead  Sucess!

Parked on Kendall Mtn rd at intersection with Deer Park rd. Kendall Pk via pass above Titusville mine (nasty steep scree!). Over Pt 13409 (looks harder than it is; head up NW ridge to vertical turret segment and then scramble round to climber's right on to upper reaches of W face) and on over Rhoda to Whitehead and pt 13109. Down via the Whitehead trail across Deer Park to the Deer Park rd.

Silver Lake Loop  Sucess!

With Rachael, parked around 10,500 in Arrastra Gulch (2012 Outback) and hiked to Silver Lake, up the northeast ridge of Kendall Peak and traversed the basin to Little Giant and back down via an abandoned trail on its west side.

3rd in San Juan Sweetness 2011  Sucess!

Ryan and I did a traverse by parking below Silver Lake to the east, hiking up to the saddle south of the lake, tagging the peak, retracing our steps to the south before veering west to descend towards Kendall Mtn Rd back to Silverton where the 2nd car awaited. It took about 7 hours total, about 11-12 miles long, and a little over 3000' of elevation gain.
