Hiked up via Squaw and then went down to Five Lakes for a nice swim.

Five Lakes Trailhead
KT-22 Peak via Five Lakes Trail and a use trail that starts just before the first lake and connects you to the ridge. We were on the trail by 12:35 and made it to the summit by 1:45. Party of 4. 2.3 miles and 1 hour 10 minutes to the summit. 1,475 ft of elevation gain. 4.6 miles and 2 hours 15 minutes round trip. Very popular trail with lots of day hikers but the trail is on a south-facing slope without a ton of tree cover so on a hot day bring lots of water. The trail is in good condition except for the last 75 feet or so which is a scramble on very loose rock (Note: Someone installed a metal cable to help you get up/down this part.

With Squaw Peak and EmigrantVery hot day, but a nice long loop gaining over 3,500' in 11 miles.
