"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

Nice ParkThe pup and I with Pt9500 and Pt9447. After a couple months off due to injury, travel and some lack of motivation, this was a nice long loop to knock the rust off.

Staunton Ranch > Bugling Elk > Lions BankThis peak was a great choice for a mellow winter day. The scenery in this park is simply astounding!!! I can't wait to come back for another visit of this area. From the top of this peak, the shear cliffs of Lions Head are breathtaking! Also, Elk Park Falls looks like an ice climber's dream.

Nice sunday hike. This park is a gem, beautiful, unspoiled area right in Denver's backyard. Lions Head is nice, easy hike.
