With my daughter in heavy rain and 60mph winds
I've always known this route as the Crib Lem spur. Either way, it's a cracking day out. I've introduced a number of people to scrambling via this ridge. You just need to be very careful at the start as you traverse left onto the ridge. A slip there is likely to be fatal.

Baking heat
Climb on a very hot day. Dry rock, excellent visibility. Completed the route with a visit to Carnedd Llewelyn & Yr Elen.

Wet and Misty
Like J Fox I saw very little of the views this day. I spent the night camping between the large boulders below Llech Ddu buttress and woke to rain and mist. Very atmospheric in the early morning.

Nice easy scramble in a great position.

Llech Ddu Spur
We climbed this on a really windy and misty day. We never saw more than 30 feet of the spur at a time but we still had an enjoyable scramble.
