When I look back on my climbing career, this is one of those moments that I think, "What the hell was I thinking?!" This pic doesn't really do the scene justice. There was a huge drop off below us and the snow sucked. We wanted to get to the top after puting in so much time and work and there was this one little patch of snow in our way. Once we got around this snow we found two more patches and decided to retreat and live to climb another day.
