Chris, Thanks for submitting the trailhead. I am SLOWLY starting to work on the RMNP area page, and have included this as a child, and will also link to it in the main text.
Please note that the official name is "Longs Peak", not "Long's Peak". I had touble searching for it in SP beacuse of that. For clariy the USGS decided to omit apostrophes from all names, even when it is grammatically correct that they are present.
Chris, glad to see more and more trailheads beind added. Are there any other amenities available at the trailhead besides camping, like restrooms, drinking water, trailmaps, etc. Thanks.
I started a new job so vacation time is pretty scarce. What little time off I have is slotted for Kili in Feb. I am hoping to sneak in an easy 14er in Jan though to help with acclimatization. It'll be a quick 2-day weekend trip though, probably either Quandary or Bierstadt. Interested?
FYI - I had lunch with Bill today. He seems to be doing well in CA.
