Looking back at my camp site

From looking at the dry river bed, you wouldn't expect it, but further up this valley is where I camped: the day before I had followed an irrigation channel up there until I found a nice flat spot. Apart from that channel and the probably not very clean Rio Colca, it was rather dry around here. Fortunately, a bit further along the track to Sibayo there were a couple of streams coming down the mountains. Otherwise it would have been a thirsty day ... 7 May 2011.
