Looking SE from the summit of Gannett Peak. Fremont Peak is the highest bulk on the right of the photo. Bonney (Dinwoody) Pass, over which Gannett Peak is approached from Titcomb Basin, is the large high saddle right of center of the photo. August 12, 1992.

It is indeed a wonderful area, and worth going back to someday. I'd like to explore the Wind Rivers much more thoroughly! So Many Mountains - So Little Time

Dinwoody Pass = Bonney Pass?

Question: are these two names synonymous?

See here. Say, Bob, did you climb your namesake towers near Dinwoody Pass on the way by? How does one come to own two crags in the Wind Rivers anyway?

They are synonymous, although the official name has changed from Dinwoody Pass to Bonney Pass for whatever reasons. I guess it is sorta confusing, and I should update the route description and other references to alleviate that confusion.
