somebody needs to endorse this guy. where are the sponsors.
I wouldn't be the least bit suprised to find out this person habitually thinks about climbing in the Peruvian Andes
Yeah, the trip did go very smoothly, although I'm sure there were many minor mistakes during our trip but nothing that caused much stress. One reason why descending in one day may have been a mistake is in hind sight I would have liked to spend more time on the mountain, possibly attempting another route. Thanks for the comment!
Yes, We were fortunate enough to have a good amount of experience between the two of us as well as a few friends that have climbed Denali previous that we were able to get a lot of info from. Otherwise, it takes a lot of reading and research, a fit body and a sharp mind.
A HUGE congratulations on your successful summit!
This report was a delight to read as it was informative, not long-winded and the pictures were stellar.
Thanks for posting this. I'll be committing to memory your 'mistakes'.
Cheers!

Well written TRGreat report & pics. The one pic showing all the climbers reminds me of this one on Hood, kinda similar. It does spoil the experience somewhat.

Mistake #3This was relatively few mistakes for summitting denali, and I am not sure what made this a mistake, though it may not have been fun. Nice report.
