Rugged summitsEven without gear telling mountains like these can flaunt huge challenges and danger. First aid kit and sport blanket are a must. Still, the best way to the summit is what you see! Climb on!

Re: Rugged summitsSo right! Thanks for the comment. Of course I always travel with those sorts of essentials you mention... having been a fire fighter, and a Boy Scout, I'm always prepared. Plus I know the limits of my fitness and expertise, and enough mtn weather to keep myself out of the most common risky situations. By "gear", relative to mountaineering I mean the ropes and pitons and ice axes and helmets and all that is associated with the more technical aspects of what I may call real mountaineering.I'm essentially a hiker.
I'm brand new to this organization, perhaps you'd be willing to look over the Mt Reba page a time or two in the coming days as I attempt to build it out a bit... a tell me if I'm on the right track relative to the expectations and intent of this group.
(Don't suppose you can tell me how to designate a "primary image"? I've spent hours and still can't find the means to do that.)
Thanks Again! Bruce
