Re: Wow

Thank you. No sunlight that day which helped keep the contrast under control, but the image still needed quite a bit of work.

Re: Wow and a half!

Sometimes I wonder if some of my images belong on a "Mountaineering" site, so I am very grateful for your comment.

Thanks!

Re: Wow and a half!

They definitely do. We could not do any mountaineering without water and wildflowers add so much beauty to the whole experience.
I also feel that this site is not just about the routes, but also about meeting other people with similar passions.
When I pick my hiking partners I always want to know if they really appreciate nature. By looking at your gallery I can tell that you are someone whose company I would enjoy in the mountains. Cheers.

Re: Wow and a half!

Exactly! The mountains are not just about the peaks themselves! Half of the fun is seeing and enjoying the natural beauty all around you on your way there. Sometimes I go to the mountains not to climb one but to just sit and enjoy what's around me. I think your photography captures these things quite well! Beautiful things like these just tend to be concentrated near mountains....

Superb Exposure!

You managed to capture the shutter speed just right on this one, sometimes I have a bit of difficulty with. Well done.
Cheers Josh Lewis
