Lookout Site
We played baseball with snow and pieces of wood from the lookout. We came back years later and bivied at the lookout site. On that ascent, I failed miserably on my attempt on Skadulgwas. I think I figured it out if I ever go back there though.

Main Peak
Approached via the Round Mt. Trail; mostly brush free. Ridge was low 5th class, not the 3rd class that Beckey describes. Three hours and ten minutes to the summit.

West Peak Lookout site
Good trip, interesting variety of snow conditions, 3rd attempt in winter conditions. Temperature inversion in full effect, 50 degrees on the summit. 6 hours roundtrip.
Finally went after the east summit - beautiful day for a scramble.

Lookout Site
I was eating berries by the handful, 5 different kinds. I also went over to look at the route on the west peak which is north of the lookout site. I couldn't tell if it was class 4 or not so I decided not to try it.

West Summit (Lookout)
Went up to the old lookout site on a very hot day. The bugs were some of the worst I have ever experienced before!!! I explored the deep timber, up the sweet creek and crossed the open meadow... Lots of off trail exploration up there if you have the time. The summit had good views of Baker, Glacier and Whitehorse... Couple other peaks, but those really stuck out.

Nice hike with some great views. I thought that we had reached the summit (it was the highest point around), but after reading this page I'm not sure. Great hike, regardless.
