James
Summitted in a snowstorm with 50mph winds on the 4th of July. Wouldn't have known we were at the top but for the register. I hear the views are incredible so I'll have to go again.

Lazy Day
Ely Behrhorst and I were considering going for Split but after consulting with a marmot at Triple Divide Pass fro 45 minutes we opted to "settle" for Mount James. Summit views were spectacular, as was the weather.

spectacular summit day
Climbed with a group of six from Triple Divide Pass on an absoutely stunning July day. Best conditions I've yet to experience at a mountain pass in Glacier - no wind, and an abundance of sunshine! Unbelievable views from the top... loved the sheer, 2000 foot drop into the wild valley to the northeast. Lots of talus made for a rather crappy descent, but altogether a wonderful day in the mountains. Highly recommended.

Mt. James--second try
Made it to the top from Cut Bank with my friend Tyler Reif on a beautiful day with incredible views. We tried to climb a week earlier (8/18), but before we could summit we encountered a horrible storm of sleet, rain, lightning, and strong wind. We hunkered down for close to two hours against a small cliff wall before heading down the wet scree, determined to get back up there.

Mt James
Climbed from Cutbank ranger station with Tad Vottler who waited at Triple Divide Pass and John Egan who stayed by the creek and caught several delicious trout.
