Sunny Day with Fellow Pearl Coworkers
3 hours C2C up the Main trail, over 300 hundred people up ad down over the beautiful sunny day, fantastic views of the lake, and possibly Osceola. Hiked with some Pearl Harbor guys, their first east coast mountain

Great hike up Mount Major!
On July 2nd, a group of us hiked to the top of Mount Major in New Hampshire's Lakes Region. Hiking group included: my brothers Sean Crotty, Brendan Crotty, my two nephews and friends Marc Zdunczyk & Jeff Zdunczyk.
We had done this hike once before in 2006. And both times we were blessed with amazing views of Lake Winnipesaukee from the summit.
We hiked the orange trail up and back for a total combined distance of 3.2 miles and an elevation gain of 1,148 feet. It took us 1 hour 52 minutes going up and 1 hour 15 minutes coming down. We hiked very slowly enjoying the scenery and taking frequent breaks
This is a great hike for all athletic abilities. My 8 year old nephew breezed up this without breaking a sweat.
I made a fun little video of the hike here: https://youtu.be/sNJ3OA9RGc8
Let me know what you think!

low altitude but great view
For something below 2000 feet the view was incredible. Thirty minute hike from the trailhead off Route 11. Hot day when I hiked it.

Beautiful Day
Decided to climb this at the last minute and didn't regret my decision. The day was perfect with magnificent view of the lake. I recommend this climb as you won't be disappointed.

Nice short hike with great views, however, thunderclouds rolled in as we reached the summit, and we almost got struck by lightning. We will definitely go back at some point soon.

fun little peak
A nice little hike, great views, always crowded especially in the summer.
I haven't done it in the winter but I bet the slabs accumulate a lot of ice.

Icy!
We climbed the main trail both up and down. Had tons of ice up top once you got out of the trees. Amazing views!

Up Main Trail and Down Boulder Loop Trail
One of the first hikes I took, and we go about once a summer. Lots of fun ledge scrambles near the summit on the Main trail, although these can be bypassed
We hiked Mt. Major on an overcast day. Scores of people on the top as this is a very popular trip even when the views are minimal.
