Beautiful mountains and beautiful weather make beautiful SP pages. Look at your own ones ;-) Honestly I love some of the pictures very much which is why I decided to put it up today.
Thanks Dean and I'm glad you like my pages. Like someone else said of one of my last pages ".. you really sell the area to me!"
That's what I'm here at SP for. I was amazed when I first had a glimpse of the Lienz Dolomites (and that glimpse covered only the lower regions - too many clouds around the upper part). The area is almost unknown. But it compares with some of the "real" Dolomites. The mountain range is really small, though. One day and you have hiked through it (and probably find yourself already in the next mountain range). Anyway, the region is great and I would just like to share this beauty.
Thanks Mathias. Yes Lesachtal is a great place for exploring mountains. The mountains themselves are not very high but still offer great, great views. But now that I have received my southern Carnic Alps Maps I must say that going even further down south must be interesting as well! Maybe in 2006?
Hey Paul, take that back! I had a laaaaaazy weekend! Only six pictures posted and that really doesn't count, does it? I'm afraid, the doctor would prescribe some SP abstinence! That's why I prefer not to consult him ;-)
You see? Two summits a week seems to be an adequate amount for junkies like us. Will we reach the "offender" (quote Moni, or Fred (?), or Gabriele (?!?)) this year? You bet!
Reach him? Never. 2,000 points by the end of the year seems reasonable, though. I have three mountains coming soon, two more waiting in the wings, plus others which might be climbed in the interim.

Untitled CommentYou are writing quicker than I can read. Amazing! I hardly manage to drive further south than Lienz. Your pages show that it would be worth it

Untitled CommentI take that back: a page a day was doctor's orders. Leave some drugs, I mean mountains, for others. What a hog! :)

Untitled CommentWell, I was out five days (Wednesay to Sunday) and climbed 14 peaks. Only two of them will appear on Summitpost. Probably later this week.
