Great one, goofball!

What's great about it is you normally don't
see cloudy skies over Lake Mead NRA. It makes
the mojave much more dramatic when there's
clouds to leave shadows upon the landscape.

the last few weeks here have been pretty cloudy and drizzly off and on. i love that dappled light that comes w/ it ! that, to me, is the essence of the mountain experience and is the way it should be - cool, cloudy, damp. ahhhhhhh...

Yes, total agreement! You really captured the
'essence' of the Muddys in this picture.

When I was there last year, I saw a lone hiker going through Anniversary Narrows with a full pack and sleeping bag. Said he was going to spend a week out there in the wilderness.

What a wonderful place to spend a week!!!
