Followed a track then use/game trails from the northeast. Great wide open views from the summit, really glad I visited this area.
The few times I've been on or near this butte was in the pursuit of petrified wood and the occasional arrowhead. I really like this big, wide open region for the spaces, wild horses and of course the plentiful rocks to be found.
First climb in 2007-- went up the standard way but opted for some more adventure on the way back. Climbed it again in 2010 en route to West Oregon Butte.
