THE Best Boots EVER!
I've put many many miles of hiking, rock and ice climbing, mountaineering in these boots and am consistently impressed with their functionality and comfort. They take crampons well, are stiff enough for rock climbing, sticky on granite slabs, and provide plenty of stability for morraine fields.

I can't say enough good things about these boots..... just awesome!

Very versatile boot
I bought these for my girlfriend Penelope in 2005. We were planning to climb Gannet Peak and she didn't want to lug her Makalus all the way to Titcomb Basin (17 miles one way). She hiked in these Trangos. We climbed the North Face, had crampons on most of the day and the boots worked great. Pen used them since in the Sierra in early season, on summer ice couloirs and hiking in winter here at home in San Jacinto Mountains. The boots are great for her. She has G-12 Newmatic Crampons with them, which match the boots well. After 3+ seasons, she has absolutely no complains, she loves the boots. This is a good product and the print fits the woman's foot really well.

Best boots I've ever owned
I've worn these boots on Rainier and many other mountains ... I wear them backpacking and hiking/climbing during the winter. They are AWESOME. Comfortable and warm ... I put a pair of Super Feet insoles in them to fit my awkward arch a bit better ... my feet never hurt, beyond the normal tiredness ... I LOVE them.
