Pagosa Peak Amateur Radio Activation
I reached the summit at 2:35PM and set up a portable amateur radio station under my call at the time, N5JKY. I made a radio contact with station K7PVZ in Washington state.

From 2WD trailhead
A nice half-day outing to enjoy the turning aspens on a cold day. The 4WD road is pretty gnarly -- some guys did it in a stock Tundra, but I'm not sure how. Trip report.
Started at 2 WD trailhead at 6:40 a.m., back at 1:10 p.m. To my surprise, there were a number of other hikers. It had been years since I had to share a Colorado summit with others (since I started climbing lesser known peaks).
