This is a great easy hike up a peak in Park City. It has a trail to the summit and views most of the way. Views from the summit give a good overview of the Park City area. The hike starts from a city park. There is no shade on this hike.
The quickest way from the freeways is to take the Highway 248 exit off I-40 and go west toward Park City. You'll pass PC Hill on your right. Keep an eye out for a road to the right just before a school (see map). There is a sign saying road closes after dark.
Start up the unsigned trail on the south-east side of the very large parking area . After a switchback, the trail heads south until hitting a saddle where a road in encountered. Take a left and hike up the road. This road goes up to the summit wrapping around the north side. Save some distance by looking for one of several trails that cut left off the road and go directly to the top.
