Calving on Video
Nice easy day to the glaciers. Saw some great "avis" (calving, ice breaking away from the glacier), and got one on video. Was pretty cool and the sound was thunderous. Another great weather day.

Whole in the Weather
Started in Windy Rain in the late afternoon and had this popular trail almost to myself. A large piece of ice cracked as I was leaving and I was able to spin around and get a shot of it falling.
Hiked this route back around 2001. Stunning. Saw a large serac break off of Lefroy and come tumbling down into the cirque below us. Memorable. My first time to the Banff area.
