Italy/Austria October partner(s) wanted

Climbing partner (or partners, party of 2 or 3 would be great) wanted for a two week trip to Northern Italy, Austria, and/or the Finale Ligure area on the Mediterranean. Male or female, from fairly new to experienced. Age not a huge deal.

Date(s): Either starting weekend of 25 September, or, 2 October for two weeks. Flexible on schedule.

I’m thinking of flying into Milan (MXP or LIN for planning purposes) and, after a quick check of the weather, head north to Kufstein in Austria for 5 or 6 days in the Wilder Kaiser. Then, down to Innsbruck, south to Bolzano, and drive west to the Val di Mello for around 5 days. Finish off by heading to Finale Ligure for the balance of the trip.

Basically looking to do longer, multi-pitch routes one day, then “rest” by doing shorter routes the next, repeat. Hotel rates are fairly low this time of year and there are plentiful lodging options. Looking forward to low crowds on classic routes and all other advantages of being slightly off season.

Climbing mostly in the “6a MAX” range. Really enjoy longer easier routes too. And the occasional via ferrata. Also don’t mind a bit of harder “6a obl” type routing. Sport climbing, placing gear, route finding, it’s all good. Been climbing for 28 years and have climbed in Europe a number of times (Dolomites, Vercors, Belgium, Lux, Greece, Corsica, etc). I’m easy going and fairly good at planning and carrying off great trips.

Plenty of bad weather options including changing locations, via ferrata, etc. Semper gumby (always flexible)!

Would be renting a car. Can provide all group gear.

Hoping to have some company for this trip.
