Pleasant Creek through Glorious Rock
The fresh running water of Pleasant Creek makes all the difference. Grand scenery and lots of solitude. A long panel of petroglyphs can be found on the first part of the hike, on the north canyon wall. They are not visible from the creek, you have to walk up and over a small ridge paralleling the creek.
Did a "last of the summer" backpack into Lower Pleasant Creek Canyon. Great choice for easy backpacking...pretty flat and there's an actual water source. Spent the night and then toured the park.

Pleasant Creek
This is a great canyon with water flowing year round. We used two cars as a shuttle and hiked through the entire canyon which runs west to east through the waterpocket fold.

7:25 to 11:30. Very pleasant as advertised. Tried to jump over the creek the first few times but then walked right through it.
