Great hike
Great day for a hike with the dog. Didn't even know this trail was there but it was well traveled. Great views. The trail continues up, you could hit South Sandia via this route.

In the clouds...
I can see this peak out of my bedroom window and have always thought it would be a fun climb! One thursday morning, it was snowing and I had time...so I packed my ice axe and away I went. The climb in the snow was fantastic, and I was the only one out. The only bummer was that the rest of the Sandias were shrouded in fog so the views were not that good. I was hoping the clouds would lift by the time I summited for some spectacular pics. Well, I'll just have to do it again...
