The black slope ahead is the very bottom of the SE ridge of Pyramid Peak. Keep hiking past the end of the ridge to the back side and climb an easy little ravine up to the first saddle along the ridge. 10 February 2008

It works every time! Dennis, are you going to be coming down to Arizona next month, or
are you like me and waiting for the gasoline prices to bottom out? I love the stark landscape of the Mojave. Awesome photo!
