Red Baldy - Me, approaching the summit ridge
The ridgeline between Little Cottonwood and American Fork Canyons can be seen in the background right. To the left, and out of view, is the lower peak just west of Red Baldy, on the same ridgeline. It's still a substantial push from the lower peak to the summit in the winter. We decided not to continue on this time. Vanman did return for a successful attempt the following week.
