Refuge from the Storm
After suffering 12-15 foot seas during the 2-1/2 hour sail from Key West, FL, the calm of the harbor at Dry Tortugas National Park, 70 miles west, was more than welcome. Fort Jefferson can be seen in the misty background. Imaged in June 2002. (Note: This image is obviously not mountain related. It is here to provide completeness to the U.S. National Parks list).
