Re: Very cool...Thanks. The remains of the Snead Farm are on the eastern slope of Dickey Hill inside the Park. The barn and the root cellar are still mostly intact. The outer walls of what I think is the farm house are still there. There is a tree growing at the foot of what was once the stairs to the second floor.

Missed that!For some reason I didn't do a close-up inspection of the barn on my visit (and can't remember doing one on previous).
The main floor of the house (pretty sure that's what that is) is an excellent shady place to hang out. If that is one doesn't mind three black vultures not much more than arm's length away, the closest I've ever gotten to a wild vulture. I was that close before I knew they were there, and two of them were on an overhanging branch *behind* me talk about creepy.
