Rotui
Some of the resources online in various places talk about this trail being washed out/eroded in places, and the writers used that as reason to turn around. While there are some small sections of trail erosion occurring, I didn’t think any of it was dangerous. There are plenty of vegetation belays to use if needed, and at no point does the exposure get particularly high. I climbed during the “wet season” but after a period of relatively dry weather, so the trail was in very dry conditions.
My wife and I attempted Rotui on November 13th, 2020. The first section doesn't follow a trail. Climb through the woods.
The second section is a steady trail along the spine. Once you reach about 2/3 of the way up, the trail starts to give way in many areas due to erosion. Being as it's on the side of a cliff, it's a bit unnerving. Definitely don't attempt in rain and don't attempt alone.

NIce climb, but slippery and rainy going down. I fell several times, two falls were bad enough to draw blood. Still, this climb is no where near as scary as Mouaputa.
