I-70 westbound, San Rafael Swell, Utah

West of Green River, Utah, I-70 cuts through the San Rafael Swell with care. Contracted in late 1960's, the workers had to preserve the untampered look of mother nature. Eroded sandstones of several colors, the Swell attracts visitors from far away. Over the last 150 years of history, very few people have chosen here as home.
