Still not oriented in this placeI'm convinced I'll need to climb here another 20 times before I can identify which route I'm on at any given climb. Sunday, we just used the "Hmmm, I guess that looks do-able" method. I climbed above my pay grade repeatedly, which I GUESS is good...or not.

Years..,since I've been here. Not much of a "sport" climber and there were not as many moderate routes as there may be now. Should check it out again.

ShelfHave been there a dozen times or so. great climbing, but getting a little over crowed. As far as Canon city climbing, I like Tanner dome better much less crowded.

nice dragginggreat sport climbing area, easy access, a little too crowded on weekends, too many dogs, and really hot on sun facing cliffs.
Campgrounds gets busy also on weekends...
