Great accomplishment Judy. I hiked up to Mt Powell last summer so it's nice to recognize features in your photos. I would go with you on similar adventures, just let me know.
Thanks! I did notice your Mt Powell log. I think that ridge is an amazing contrast to the ridges of the Wasatch. I'll let you know if I go out there again. I hope to see you on Kings. Good luck on your race next week!
I am very impressed that not only you were able to pull of a one day winter ascent of Mount Powell, but that you did so while breaking trail the entire way. Nice accomplishment!
Nice job doing that trip solo! I did Kings in a day with a friend, it was an adventure. Not sure I would have done it solo though. Not much room for error. Very nice TR, Thanks.

Noteworthy accomplishmentIs there nothing small in your amazing bag of tricks? Again, congratulations on a major notch in your winter pistol grip.

Not much snow??It doesn't look like there is too much snow at all there.
Well done on the climb though!

Re: Not much snow??There for sure wasn't much snow above treeline. It had all blown away. Below treeline there was lots.
