This time, after nearly 35 years, I climbed Sokolica early in the morning (got up at 4.40 and reached the summit at 6.20) and met only a few people there. Good idea, great views, a beautiful bluebird day: After climbing Sokolica I hiked to the ruin of Pieniny Castle (unfortunately closed for safety reasons), climbed Trzy Korony, had an early dinner in Trzy Korony Hut and a pint of lager on the other bank of the Dunajec, then had a brisk walk through the Dunajec Gorge to catch my bus in Szczawnica at half past three.
