I camped at the Cinnamon Bay Campground. it made for a great, cheap location to base trips out of. I rented a sea kayak (great gear rental shop) from the independently owned shop at the campground for 5 days and kayaked around USVI & BVI. Highly recommended. That said, the actual campground is pretty much a dump. There is not much available in terms of food so plan on bringing everything or kayaking to the next bay over for dinners. Good for dirtbagging
Good to know, sounds like you did it the right way. I'd be interested to hear a trip report. The campground didn't look that appealing to me but it is required if you're doing St. John on "the cheap"(unless you can stay with relatives as I did).
Thanks for the feedback.

Re: Great, Great Beach! If you're referring to the Trunk Bay photo, I'd have to agree wholeheartedly, best beach I've ever seen!!!
