"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

lovelyOne of the most pleasant trails in the Northeast - nice steady climb, not too long, great views for the last mile or so.
Especially nice in the early season - summit was not too crowded, with road, Gondola, and some east-side trails still closed.

Mansfield TraverseVery cold morning, sun came over the ridge as I came out onto the open Sunset Ridge. Enjoyed views up to the main ridge, had summit to myself, very cold strong winds. Started running into tourists along the ridge, visited Forehead and descended via the very steep but scenic Maple Ridge Trail. Great day!

goodCantilever Rock is cool and worth the trip. We had no views but it was fun glissading down portions of the Laura Cowles Trail.

With FamilyClimbed this on Independence Day 2010 with my wife, brother, and parents. Descended via Laura Cowles trail, which was much steeper. Great weather for a 5th time on the summit!
