ThanksYeah, a lot of locals don't seem to know about it but it is within an hour of ABQ and Santa Fe. Doing both full trails was only about 4 miles but I think it took me an hour to get through the 3/4 mile of canyon I took so many pics.

Re: triedI have been to New Mexico, is this area more in the south? Well, i prefer the colder conditions of the mountains. Whenever we went to a desert Colorado/New Mexico i suffered a great deal from the heat. My family enjoy escaping from Virginia which is so Hot! During the winter we have no snow!
One day i might go there, looks great,
Wiktoria

Re: triedIt is halfway between ABQ and Santa Fe. They get some snow there in the winter but it can be hiked year round.
