This is the confluence of the the North and Middle Forks of the American River near Auburn, California. This spot might be my favorite spot in the entire world. I took this picture on April 22, 2006.

Another bridge?

Hello, we too been here and it is a great place. That is California Road 49 there, correct? I seem to remember another bridge that was higher up in the air (seems it'd be behind the picture taker here, north of the confluence)but I could not figure out on the map what road that bridge was part of.

Thank you John for your vote and comment.Yes that is the Highway 49 bridge. There is a bridge on the other side of that bride and there is bride behind the shot.
