Re: classic...Thanks Dow ...That's a great idea! We practically lived in a VW most of my childhood, traveling all over the US, Canada and Europe (including soviet occupied countries back in the day!) This was the first of several VW buses. And I still think they drove with me hanging out the window. lol ;-)

I know my girls tell similar stories...you would think I was Grizzly Adams....the way they talk...child wellfare services must have been quite lax 20yrs ago I guess...only photo on SP I ever thought worthy of paying money for...sweet

Nostalgic . . .Do you still like road trips? I think I acquired my taste for road trips and the south west from my family's yearly trip from Texas to California.

Re: Nostalgic . . .Yep, still love the road trips. It's just a little harder to find 3-4 weeks to drive all over the place, so I'm limited to 3-day weekends instead. But I can still get pretty far in a long weekend!!
