The route to Tanner Butte up the Eagle Creek Trail is one of the best in the gorge for scenery as it winds its way past precipitous cliffs and dozens of waterfalls. This picturesque trail was laboriously hewn from the basalt cliffs nearly 100 years ago. This pic taken on the uphill side of Tunnel Falls 1/23/05
