Backpack
Out of Cliff Lake TH at Courtright Reservoir. It started snowing when we threw on the packs, but stopped after 15 minutes and held off the whole trip. We set up camp in the woods near Cliff Lake and then summited all Three Sisters, hiking back to camp in the dark. The next morning we woke up and summited Dogtooth before packing up camp and getting out before the big storms rolled through. Easy hiking, beautiful area, great little trip!

Courtright Late Autumn
The dogs and I enjoyed 2-12 inches of fresh snow on our first Sierra outing in over 4.5 months (my surgically repaired broken ankle had caused us to miss the heart of hiking season). The time away, snow-enhanced scenery, and clear skies kept us from minding having been to the summit on two previous occasions.

Cliff lake
Great views, perfect weather, swarms of mosquitos even at the summit. Two out of three ain't bad.

With nearby Dogtooth, hiked with Shane Smith who I randomly met at the trailhead in the morning. This, after hiking seven hours during the night on an unsuccessful effort to reach Tunemah - blocked by fire along the way. Trip Report.

Sierra Mountain Junkies Unite!
Well said, Matthew! See, unlike you, my "work" involves taking showers in the N Fork of the Kings, organizing gear for the next climb, and thinking up how I'm going to score dinner for the night. I squeezed this in as a morning run, getting back for a full "rest" day, tricking my body into lounging for the duration of sunlight. Nice, easy hike, with good views on a clear day. The walls above Cliff Lake make for some great scrambling/climbing!
The next day was a Tehipite Dome/Spanish Mtn dayhike.

Dayhike after work
I got up really early on a Friday, went into work long before sunrise, and managed to squeeze in a full day's work before noon... so that I could then drive a few hours to the Sierra, and tag this one in the afternoon without having to take a day off work. I felt like a junkie who'd figured out how to get his fix without anyone noticing.
Excellent summit views from an otherwise dull peak--all the way from the Clark Range to Goddard, and probably further south too.
