not being familiar with technical canyoneering, my wife an I hired a guide for this. These are great slots with some fun rappels. There was plenty of water and mud to wade from the recent storms but no swims required.
Been to Lower Red Cave 5 times now. Such a pretty hike and canyon! The lower section has great downclimbing and pools most of the year. Last time, there was a no trespassing sign at the gravel pit (unlike previous times). Probably best to ask for permission from the owners before you go out there
