Re: What wine?Hi!!!!!!! Thanks!!! It`s an argentinian wine frome Mendoza (it`s one of our states, where is located Aconcagua). It`s an excelente area to produce such fine wine. The wine is a Catena Zapata and we are drinking it at the top of Cerro Campanario, a small peak in Bariloche (Patagonia) wich has an excelente view of the whole region. There I have a lot of very good friends!!! You have to visit our Patagonia!!!

Re: What wine?Oh yes! I would like to try some Mendoza wine and also climb the Polish Direct route on Aconcagua - very very much! I am trying to encourage some others to join me. Have you ever tried any California wines? I wonder how Catena Zapata compares with California wines. I hope to visit someday!!! Also, please visit this page here at Summitpost: (The climbers/wine lovers all go here!! And you can add your picture too.) http://www.summitpost.org/album/172674/The-Wino-Album.html

Re: What wine?Ok!!! We have to keeping in touch, so, may be we can join your group and mine to climb it together!!! Why have you choose that route to climb it???
But if you come here not to climb, we can drink a fine wine too!!!!
Here you have the Catena Zapata page, and below it you have the wine I was drinking!!

Re: What wine?Yes, most definitely keep in touch. I've always looked at the Polish Direct route because it's more technical, looks like fun, and maybe there would be fewer people. And what could be a better way to celebrate than drinking fine Mendoza wine upon our return!!!

Re: What wine?Good to have you here. Sounds like good friends in the making. Looks like we'll have to hold our visit till January 2008. Long story... : ( We were supposed to go to Cerro Torres but my boss won't give the time off in advance. That's why I need to be a full time climbing bum!!
Cheers!!!
