With Rachael. Started at the Hope Lake trail in South Mineral and up over the V9-Rolling saddle. Traversed high in the basin to reach V10. Loose slope not fun, ridge was much better. Descended to Cascade Creek bridge and up and over the Rico-Silverton trail back to the car.

Despite the loose nature of the ridge, I liked it. I did not like the willows. Nice day out. Great camping at the end of Cascade Rd. and I do not like driving this road - it is dragging and is slow although not technically hard.
