The entire East Ridge route is visible in this picture.
Just before reaching Lake Haiyaha there is a (thin) spur trail to the left that many hikers use to reach the front edge of the lake. The spur trail leads to the boulderfield that leads to the East Ridge. This is a fun Class 2 scramble on huge boulders and (mostly) stable talus. The key is to avoid the cliffs seen to the left and to the right in the pic.
Taken from just off the trail on the way to Lake Haiyaha, and ultimately Otis Peak.
