"I thought it was trailhead parking!"

Trailhead parking??? I won't shed any unnecessary light on the subject, 'coz I don't think da light can shine thru all that mud. Good luck, fellas!!! ~ Feb. 5, 2008 - near the Granite Dells Road outside of Payson, Arizona ~ "The traveller is always leaving town, He never has the time to turn around. And if the road he's taken isn't leading anywhere, He seems to be completely unaware." The Alan Parson's Project (1984)

Were the vehicles

stuck, or is this typical 4wheeling? ;-)

Re: Yes and Yes...

Actually, this is more of a "turn-around"
than a parking lot. My gut feeling is, the
jeep was trying to make the turn, then
started to sink. The Good Sam (vehicle)
came around, and tried to pull the jeep
out, getting stuck in the process.

Hey

That is the kind of trailhead you get in Washington State nowadays. Where is the potty?

Re: Hey

thanks! I think the "recreation" budget
has more beef in Washington than it does
here in Arizona. Or, at least it used to.
I tried to get involved in the budget process
one time, and my plan to run off to the
Canary Islands backfired. Kidding again!

Well...

...I have done some stupid things at times off-roading, but I never have been fool enough to go into that kind of crap, not even in a Jeep!

Re: Well...

It was right after a "rare" Arizona snowstorm.

Their excuse was ... there was so much snow
covering the ground, I didn't see the dang MUD.
