W Side of Red Ridge

W Side of Red Ridge

Giewont (1895m, on the left) and the Red Ridge (its very top, 2096m, outside this photo) seen from W, while descending Czerwone Wierchy (Red Peaks). We'd done the ascent via my favourite Blue Trail, up the side of the Red Ridge seen in this pic, across the Miętusia valley. (taken in mid-1990s)

Re: Tatra Blues

This blue always makes me smile :-)

As for the daughter, I'm sure it's the older of the two of mine, Barbara, and surely she used to be lovely but now I'm not so sure of that :) - we don't get on that well any more :D, and we hardly ever go to the mountains together although it has happened in recent years (She's in one of the pics I've attached to your Calcium Corner.)

"Mrs. Brown, you've got a lovely daughter!
Girls as sharp as her are something rare.
But it's sad, she doesn't love me now,
She's made it clear enough it ain't no good
