In june 2018 I hiked the peak during 1:15 hour ascent from Przełęcz Jugowska. The same trail in winter requires about 2 hours. Views are definietly worth checking :)

2nd time in my life
I cycled from the railway station in Dzierżoniów up the road to Sokolec and left the road where it gets closest to the summit. From there I hiked (pushing my trekking bike) 90% of the way. Climbed the viewing tower, had a coffee at its foot, then descended to the Walimska Pass.

Nice evening on Wielka Sowa. Took the straight trail from Przelecz Sokola - short but enjoyable.
July 2018
Enjoyable ascent from Rozciszów. Almost noone on the trail, besides dozens of people on the top, summiting along the most popular trail.
February 2019
Winter ascent from Przełęcz Jugowska. Nice weather, short trip.

Another quick shot on Wielka Sowa, this time from Walimska Pass. Admirable.
